AP Geotechnics has been in business since 1995. It was founded by Andrew Parr and Adrian Smith, who between them have over 55 years’ experience in civil engineering and ground investigation. We started small and grew organically, based on recommendation which remains our biggest source of work.
We act primarily as consultants, working in close partnership with clients and their professional team to create investigations tailored for specific projects. On other occasions we act as contractors, following a set brief and getting the job done effectively and economically. Either way, our work spans everything from risk assessment through fieldwork, on-site and laboratory testing to fully interpretive geotechnical and environmental reporting, supervision of remediation and validation reports.
Our team are dedicated geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineers, all of whom are qualified to degree or Masters standard. We also work alongside a number of specialist partners in areas ranging from underground services tracing to topographical surveying.
We regard our reputation as our most important asset. Our aim is to be honest, transparent and straightforward in everything we do. It means that clients who try us once do so again.
